Instead of a clunky piece of plastic, they have been improved and made with a low-density foam making them 30 percent lighter and more manageable when casting. Simply unscrew the cap, slot your tippet in, and secure with the locking nut and you’re ready to fish.

Standard Rigging:
Unscrew the locking nut
Lay the butt section of your leader in the slot
Replace the locking nut and tighten down
For smaller diameter leaders, remove the rubber washer for a tighter fit.
