Description
An Orvis Madison bamboo fly rod, 7’6″, 2-piece, 1-tip, and built for a #4 line. Made as a 1-tip rod. Listed on the butt as 3 7/8 ounces and made for a #4 line. Serial #56678. Mint condition. Dark tan color cane though lighter in temper than the earlier Orvis rods. Impregnated cane with three up nodes. Brown wraps with no edges. Carbide stripper and chrome snakes. The step ferrules are oxidized. 6 1/2 long blunt cigar grip. The reel seat is an aluminum down lock screwlock with a pocket cap. Walnut spacer. Comes in the original bag and tube with the Orvis data stickers.
