An excellent flashy, synthetic hackle material which works equally well in fresh and saltwater. We know for a fact that Turks and Caicos bonefish love Crazy Charlie style flies with a little of this wound under the wing.
Krystal Hackle is made up of a number of thin, filamentous fibers attached to a core that can be wound around a hook like a synthetic feather. It is not intended to create bulk but to add a little color and flash. The fibers on the medium are around 1/2″ in length while those on the large are around 1 1/4″ in length.
