Description
A nice Hardy Perfect fly reel, 3 3/8″ and set up for RHW. Earlier leaded finish model. The reel has normal cosmetic wear throughout but no major defects that I could find. Both the spool and winding plate have had their leading removed at some point, giving the reel a slightly two-tone appearance. The agate lineguard is pristine. Ribbed brass foot with an ebonite handle. Duplicated Mk II check. The winding plate has “WS” (Wilf Sinton – 1929-1939) initials stamped on the inside. Mechanically the reel is sound, though the internals could use a quick cleaning and regreasing (the click is slightly quieter than normal due to some old grease). The drag tensioner works well. No pouch.
