Description
A superb Hardy Wide Drum Perfect with the highly coveted 1912 check mechanism, 3 3/4″ in diameter and set up for the typical RHW. Nickel silver rotating lineguard. Excellent overall condition with normal cosmetic wear but no other issues that I could find. The finish is in excellent shape for its age, and there are no cracks, chips, or any other meaningful issues that I could find. The 1912 check is terrific, as expected, with a smooth strong check. There is no wobble or play in the reel. Full length unmolested smooth brass foot. The tensioner works perfectly throughout its range. Beautiful ivorine handle. The reel packs into a modern leather Hardy zip pouch. A great example of this desirable model.
