A translucent, very fine diameter synthetic fiber for tying small flies.
A few years after I introduced the originalEP FliesI felt there was a need for a much more supple and thinner diameter fiber for small flies such as crab & shrimp, and small minnows to attract the most worried wild trout. After much trial and error theEP Silky Fiberswas born. No synthetic fiber has this much life in the water, period. The action is like a marabou feather, but the difference is the durability.
