Craft Fur is a really useful material both in Steelhead and saltwater flies. You’ll see it used in saltwater patterns like the Megalopsicle and Gotcha. We carry the most popular Steelhead and saltwater colors.
We use is quite a bit locally for our intruder style Steelhead flies where it has many uses. You can use it as a substitute for Arctic Fox, where it is spun to help prop up marabou or ostrich. You can also lay it over the length of the fly, like the Foxy Dog pattern from Charles St. Pierre.
