A translucent, very fine diameter synthetic fiber for tying small flies.
A few years after Enrico Puglisi introduced the original EP Fibers, he felt there was a need for a much more supple and thinner diameter fiber for small flies such as crab, shrimp, and small minnows to attract the most worried wild trout. After much trial and error the EP Silky Fibers was born. No synthetic fiber has this much life in the water, period. The action is much like a marabou feather, but the difference is the added durability. Recommended for smaller flies under 3″.
