Description
Prime quality Coq de Leon from Spain.
These fine, stiff, and perfectly coloured feathers make the best material for tails on nymphs and dry flies.
In English “Coq de Leon” translates as the “Leon Rooster”. Dating back to 1624, this is the oldest line of birds bred for fly-tying feathers. While there are breeders based in other countries and continents, Spanish farms continue to produce the highest quality of feathers available anywhere.
“Pardo” are feathers with fine speckling.
Quality feathers are bright on the front and preserve this brightness on the back side of the feather.
The speckles in different sizes penetrate the feather and should be clearly seen on both sides.
12 feathers per pack
