A nice Charlton 8450C fly reel with a 5/6 spool. Set up for RHW but can be easily reversed to LHW. Mint unused condition. Exceptional quality and the intelligent configurable design that these reels were known for. With the quick change of a spool you can alter both the weight of the reel and line with appropriate backing capacity, and swap in one of the 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 weight options. Carbon fiber disk drag system. Type III anodization for maximum saltwater protection. Oversized 5/8″ smooth-riding aerospace bearing with a complete enclosure of all mechanical components to protect against contamination from the elements. The reel packs into the original green cordura pouch and the original box with maintenance paperwork.
