The Stretch Back Nymph from Joes Flies is a great little bug with a slim profile that goes down fast. But, it still offers a decent meal for the trout with the fine rubber legs expanding the silhouette at all angles. Fished in a double nymph rig, naked, or as an assist nymph in a dry-dropper situation, this nymph has been proving its worth all around the country over the past year. I never go out on a trout stream without some of these flies in my kit.
